An apparatus and a method for reservation recording of a broadcasting program are provided to find a broadcasting program inputted for reservation recording from broadcasting information changed in real time. User information including terminal information is inputted from a user and stored(S300). If an intelligent reservation recording program name is inputted by the user(S302), a broadcasting program which corresponds to the inputted program name is searched from EPG(Electronic Program Guide) information updated in real time. If there is the broadcasting program in the EPG information, a search result is stored in a reservation recording information storage part(S306). Automatic reservation recording is waited(S308). If there is a broadcasting program for which it becomes reservation recording time among broadcasting programs stored in the reservation recording information storage part, a reservation recording notice signal is transmitted to a terminal set in the user information(S312) and a corresponding broadcasting program is recorded(S316).
