MESOPOROUS CARBON INCLUDING HETEROATOM, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF , AND FUEL CELL USING THE SAME

A mesoporous carbon with improved surface resistance, a method for preparing the mesoporous carbon, a supported catalyst including the mesoporous carbon, and a fuel cell having improved efficiency by employing the supported catalyst are provided. A mesoporous carbon containing heteroatom includes at least one heteroatom selected from boron(B) and phosphorous(P) and has mesopores. The heteroatom is contained in the mesoporous carbon in a content of 0.5 to 20 weight parts based on 100 weight parts of the mesoporous carbon containing heteroatom. A method for preparing a mesoporous carbon containing heteroatom comprises the steps of: (a) mixing a carbon precursor, a heteroatom-containing compound, an acid and a solvent to obtain a carbon precursor mixture; (b) impregnating an ordered mesoporous silica with the carbon precursor mixture; (c) heat-treating the resulting material; (d) carbonizing the resulting material; and (e) removing the ordered mesoporous silica from the resulting material.
