QUENCHING EQUIPMENT AND QUENCHING SYSTEM

Quenching equipment which solves a problem that an object to be quenched is curvature-deformed in a width direction through quenching work. An object to be quenched (10), made of a sheet metal and having a portion (11) protruding in the direction intersecting the longitudinal direction and the width direction perpendicularly, and two flange portions (13) extending outward in the width direction from the proximal end of the protrusion (11) on the opposite sides in the width direction thereof, is clamped by means of a clamp (22) at two flange portions (13). The object to be quenched (10) is quenched by heating it by means of a heater (50) from one side in the direction intersecting the longitudinal direction and the width direction perpendicularly and cooling it by means of a cooler (55) from the other side. The quenching work is carried out while the object to be quenched (10) is pressed from the other side toward the one side by means of a press structure (40) at a portion of the protrusion (11).
