PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction array, capable of being utilized with respect to a large number of specimens, without demarcating the surface of a solid-phase carrier by partition walls or the like. SOLUTION: A plurality of reaction units 20, which react with at least two kinds of components via a liquid medium to hold at least one component among two kinds or more components or the surface of the solid-phase carrier, and an isolation region 40, which mutually isolates a plurality of the reaction units 20, are provided on a solid-phase carrier 2. The isolation region 40 has a nonhydrophilic surface, having nonhydrophilicity with respect to the liquid medium to a degree, capable of separating the reaction liquid supplied to the other reaction unit 20 adjacent to the reaction liquid that is supplied to the reaction unit 20 for reaction to hold it as independent liquid droplet.
