PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus, system and method for performing the automatic disposal or recycle of a computer by a safe method independently of an operating system. SOLUTION: In this apparatus, system and method for performing the autonomous disposal of a computer such as a work station, a local permanent storage medium of the computer is configured by a pre-boot image 220a constituted by using a set of function modules for simplifying the disposal of a computer or the recycle of the computer to the next user. This disposal and recycle method is automated, and only the minimum user intervention is required, and a configuration option and data are easily moved to a different computer.
