PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which secures proper circulation of cold air inside a refrigerator by preventing freezing of a damper by dew condensation. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises: an evaporator 14 for cooling a storing compartment; a defrosting heater 31 for defrosting the evaporator 14; the damper 41 for adjusting the quantity of cold air produced by the evaporator 14 and supplied to the storing compartment closed when the evaporator 14 is defrosted; and a damper heater 42 for heating the damper 41 when the evaporator 14 is defrosted.
