PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple-needle sewing machine where twisting of a second needle thread element which causes a" loosened state" with sudden lowering of a thread take-up is prevented when vertically reciprocating speeds of a needle bar and the thread take-up are improved for improving efficiency in sewing. SOLUTION: At a needle thread passage in a sewing machine unit, the back side at a position of a threading hole of the thread take-up at least at a bottom dead center, a recess part is formed so as to swing a second needle thread element loosened by sudden lowering when its is pulled by the threading hole of the thread take-up into the recessed part, and the recess part is provided with a receiving and catching surface 53a of a striking needle thread. Moreover, on both sides of the receiving and catching surface, jumping and catching surfaces 54a are provided so as to prevent jumping and catching of the second needle thread element by making a part into which the second needle thread element is driven abut thereon.
