PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform image display using age information of a subject or the like. SOLUTION: When a subject name is acquired by switching to an age display mode, image files stored in an HDD are successively read, and subject names of the image files are extracted from attribute information and confirmed to be matched with the acquired subject name or not (Steps 130-140). For an image file matched with the acquired subject name, the age at the photographing is calculated from the photographing date and the birth date of the subject, and the image file is registered to a reference destination classified to this age (steps 142-148). Thereafter, when a display age is selected and set, this age is acquired, and images of an image file the reference destination of which corresponds to the acquired age are displayed on an image display area of a display window (steps 150-156).
