<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely break a base material at a door planned break line upon opening of a door panel. <P>SOLUTION: The door planned break line 40 of an air bag door AD comprises a tip planned break line 42 extending along a tip edge 22 of the door panel 20, and side end planned break lines 44 and 44 extending along side ends 24 and 24 of the door panel 20. The side end planned break lines 44 and 44 comprises an extending portion 44a extending between from the side connected to the tip planned break line 42 to a halfway portion P to set a width W1 of a groove 18 to almost same, and a wide portion 44b extending between the halfway portion P and a base edge 26 so that the groove 18 is widened in the direction departing from the side edge 24 of the door panel 20 as approaching the base end edge 26 side. The air bag door AD is broken as passing from the tip planned break line 42 around the side end planned break lines 44 and 44 upon the operation of an air bag device so that the door panel 20 opens about the base edge 26 side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
