PURPOSE: A vehicle simulator with a self-diagnosis function and a vehicle diagnosing method using the same are provided to accurately confirm whether malfunction is generated in the simulator or an electronic control device in I/O(Input/Output) error occurrence. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle simulator with a self-diagnosis function comprises an input signal generation unit(110), an I/O communication port, and a self-diagnosis unit(130). The input signal generation unit dynamically generates input signals corresponding to a vehicle driving condition. The I/O communication port applies the input signals to an electronic control device and receives information including output signals, which is a result of a calculation of the electronic control device with respect to the input signals, and a malfunction diagnosing code. The self-diagnosis unit performs a self-diagnosis of the simulator when malfunction is detected in the electronic control device.
