The device (100) has a high frequency coil for irradiating high frequency-magnetic field oriented perpendicular to main magnetic field. A measuring unit is provided for measuring another high frequency-magnetic field that has its origin in an excited nuclear spin. A coil (120) is provided for generating gradient fields for spatial assignment of the measured magnetic field to its point of origin. A computer unit (116) determines the spatial position of a resonant circuit-marker from the measured magnetic field.
