PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a position of an object on a still image photographed during photography of a moving image closer to a position of an object confirmed in a display screen by a user. SOLUTION: An oscillation detection part 118 detects added oscillation and supplies an amount of oscillation showing magnitude of the oscillation to a correction amount calculation part 119. The correction amount calculation part 119 calculates a shift amount for shifting a still image area for reading image data of the still image on an effective pixel area of an image pickup device 111 so as to reduce an influence by the oscillation based on the amount of oscillation. An area correction part 131 corrects the still image area so that distance from the center of the still image area after correction to the center of a moving image area after correction may be shortened when difference between a shift amount of the moving image area for reading image data of the moving image on the effective pixel area and a shift amount of the still image area is a prescribed threshold or more.
