PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent cleaning performance for an electrifying roll by a cleaning roll and excellent electrifying performance for a body to be electrified by the electrifying roll. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, an electrifying roll 14 and a cleaning roll 100 are rotatably supported by a bearing member 110 respectively, to be in a press-contact state with each other and the bearing member 110 is energized by a compression coil spring 128, to bring the electrifying roll 14 into press-contact with a photoreceptor drum 12. In addition, the bearing member 110 is configured to tilt following the displacement of a support section due to the deflection of the cleaning roll 100 by press-contact with the electrifying roll 14. When the cleaning roll 100 is deflected and the support section is displaced, the bearing member 110 tilts following the displacement of the support section, so that the increase of rotational resistance is suppressed and the driven properties of the cleaning roll 100 with respect to the electrifying roll 14 become excellent.
