An electric wire coloring device, by which a mark can be precisely formed at a designated position of an electric wire by restricting a slack of the electric wire, is provided. A coloring nozzle 31 spouts a coloring agent toward an outer surface 3a of an electric wire 3 being forwarded along a longitudinal direction of the electric wire 3. An electric wire suction unit 60, which is for sucking the electric wire 3 so as to prevent the electric wire 3 from slackening, is provided between (A) a guide roll 53 situated nearest to the coloring nozzle 31 among rolls 11, 21, 22, 24, 26, 52 and 53 arranged on the upstream side of the coloring nozzle 31 in a forwarding direction K of the electric wire 3 and (B) a delivery roll 12 situated nearest to the coloring nozzle 31of rolls 12 and 47 arranged on the downstream side of the coloring nozzle 31 in the forwarding direction K.
