PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of heightening the running performance on a snow road in the so-called sherbet state and causing little partial wear such as a toe-and-heal wear. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire is equipped with a tread pattern having transverse grooves 2b formed between a plurality of blocks, wherein each transverse groove 2b has a facial side groove part 11 stretching with the groove width GW widened and extended toward the tread end and a bottom side groove part 12 extended with approximately a constant groove width GW.
