The previous data and the current data both collected by using a sample are subjected to pattern matching with a performance pattern group respectively by a pattern-matching section (304). By the pattern matching, the most similar reference patterns are selected respectively from the reference pattern group. A distance calculating section (305) calculates the distance d between the selected two reference patterns A, B. A judging section (306) compares the distance d with a threshold, displays a message to the effect that re- examination of the sample is necessary if the distance d is greater than the threshold, and checks the previous values.
