<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reliably inform an occupant of an vehicular emergency state by vibrations of a seat belt in a predicting stage of the vehicular emergency state, regardless of an occupant state (the state of an occupant posture, kind or thickness of cloth and the like) or looseness of the seat belt, and to suppress a nuisance from information. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular seat belt device 30 comprises the seat belt 31 restraining the occupant Ma seated in a seat of a vehicle 10, an electric motor 37 of a pretensioner 36 winding up a loosing part of the seat belt at emergency, and a control portion 41 controlling the electric motor. The control portion controls the electric motor to intermittently drive in a belt winding-up direction when the vehicular emergency state is estimated.
