PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protecting structure of a heat-fused junction of a pipe and a joint, which can be applied to the heat-fused junction of the pipe and the joint after heat-fusing of the pipe and the joint. SOLUTION: In the structure wherein the heat-fused junction of the pipe 1 and the joint 2 made of thermoplastic resin is protected by covering with the protecting cap 4, the protecting cap 4 is constituted by a pair of half split caps 41 and 42 having a semicircular cross section, and ends of the half split caps 41 and 42 are connected through a hinge 5 so as to be freely bent, and the other ends of the half split caps 41 and 42 can be jointed with each other.
