PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently performing cooking while absorbing oil such as gravy without putting water in a tray in cooking fish or meat in the grill of a kitchen stove, preventing burning and flaming-up, absorbing unpleasant fishy smell, etc., and preventing the bottom plate of the grill from being heated. SOLUTION: Plaster powder or the mixed powder of the plaster powder with carbonaceous powder is mixed with water so as to obtain slurry. The slurry is directly put into the tray and hardened so as to form the liner material in the tray (hereinafter referred to as a plaster hardening body). The plaster hardening body serves as a water or oil absorbing material by using its water and oil-absorbency. Thus, the burning or flaming-up of the oil is prevented and the bottom surface is effectively prevented from being overheated by utilizing the heat insulation property of the plaster hardening body.
