<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable highly sensitive and accurate detection by reducing the influence of magnetic distribution by using a magnetic detector utilizing magnetic impedance. <P>SOLUTION: A flexible substrate 1 supporting a strip-shape thin magnetic film 2 is constituted of a flexible material such as an aramid film. The flexible substrate 1 is formed into a ring shape with its both ends meeting each other for coincidence with a circumferential magnetic field 5 generated by an objective current 4 for measurement flowing in a linear conductor 3.
