MODULATION TYPE ROTARY COMPRESSOR

A variable displacement type rotary compressor is provided to simplify piping for removing interference between pipes and form a valve module to be fixed to a casing or an accumulator for preventing vibration increase of the compressor caused by the valves. A variable displacement type rotary compressor includes a compression unit(400) formed with a vane chamber(412) divided from an internal space of a casing, a rolling piston(430) in a compression space of the cylinder, a vane(440) supported by internal pressure of the vane chamber for defining the compression space of the cylinder into a suction chamber and a compression chamber, and an accumulator(110) connected to a gas suction pipe at an inlet of the cylinder for separating liquid refrigerant from refrigerant inhaled into the cylinder. A valve unit(500) has a main valve part forming high or low pressure in the vane chamber alternatively under the control of a sub valve part, which is connected to the main valve part. A connection unit has a low pressure connection pipe(610) integrally connected to the gas suction pipe(SP2) for controlling the compression unit in association with the valve unit.
