FIELD: metallurgy, possible use in processes of direct restoration of iron from ores and/or metal-containing waste, and also in power engineering for producing cindery products. ^ SUBSTANCE: device contains cylindrical furnace with bottom, equipped with cooling system, overflows for letting out metal or cinder, gas supplying jets, loading device and heat utilization system. Cylindrical furnace is positioned in furnace space of boiler apparatus and lower collector of water-cooled screens. System for feeding air to burners of boiler apparatus is provided with heat exchanger, connected to furnace cooling system, for example, liquid metal-air (sodium-air) heat exchanger. Furnace cooling system is made in form of liquid-metallic contour filled with sodium, fully or partially located inside wall of furnace. ^ EFFECT: ensured return of heat into endothermic liquid tub of furnace without additional flow of carbon-containing fuel and oxygen blasting, production of overheated water steam, used with maximal efficiency for production of electric energy. ^ 9 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl |
