PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling body blood viscosity measuring method capable of omitting the replacing operation of the sampled blood in a blood sampling tube and capable of starting the viscosity measurement of blood in an extremely short time after the sampling of blood. SOLUTION: The blood viscosity measuring method includes a step of piercing a needle body 4, which has a falling body introducing piercing passage 20 formed thereto, through the hermetically closed plug 23 of the blood sampling tube 3, containing a blood sample, a step of introducing an almost needle-like falling body 2 into the blood sampling tube 3 through the falling body introducing piercing passage 20 of the needle body 4 to allow the same to fall through blood 60 and a step of calculating the viscosity of the blood 60 by measuring the falling terminal speed or falling acceleration of the almost needle-like falling body 2 falling through the blood 60 in the sampling pipe 3.
