<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having a case that only the liquid crystal panel on the viewing side is used by superposing two liquid crystal display parts and another case that only the other liquid crystal panel is used. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display devices (1-8) have second liquid crystal display parts (20) arranged with the viewing sides unified on liquid crystal display parts (10) and the upper side of the first liquid crystal display parts. The first liquid crystal display part has at least one display mode of a transmission mode or a reflection mode.
