PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which looseness between a connector housing and a housing cover is suppressed and connection reliability and assembly performance are improved. SOLUTION: The connector housing comprises a housing body 21 in which a terminal housing chamber 211 is installed and a cylindrical shroud 22 in which a male connector housing 40 having a male terminal to be engaged with a female terminal housed in the terminal housing chamber 211 is inserted and which has a cut-out groove 221 along the longitudinal direction Y1 of the female terminal. The half-engagement detection member 30 has a pair of correction ribs 32 which house the female connector housing 20 and contact a pair of contact faces 222 provided on both sides of the cut-out groove 221 and opposed to each other and prevent deformation of the groove width of the cut-out grooves 221 in shrinking direction.
