PULP BLEACHING ASSISTANT AND PULP BLEACHING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulp bleaching assistant and a pulp bleaching method to improve the bleaching reaction efficiency to a practical level by activating hydrogen peroxide. SOLUTION: The pulp bleaching assistant is used as a catalyst for activating hydrogen peroxide in a pulp bleaching process with hydrogen peroxide and is composed of at least one metal complex expressed by general formula (1) and general formulas (2) to (4) (not shown in figure). The pulp bleaching method comprises the contact of pulp with the pulp bleaching assistant and hydrogen peroxide to bleach the pulp. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
