PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic having excellent ameliorating effects and sense of use on the skin by regulating the cell volumes by regulating the ion concentration in the inside and outside of the cell to prevent the extinction of a dermal cell. SOLUTION: The cell volume is regulated by formulating a chelating agent for a Ca2+ion to reduce the Ca2+ion concentration on the surface layer of the cell, and specifically reducing the Ca2+concentration on the surface layer of the cell. The cosmetic further contains a lipid bilayer vesicle including K+and Cl-ions to increase the K+and Cl-ion concentrations in the cell to regulate the cell volume in combination with the reduction of the Ca2+ion concentration on the surface layer of the cell.
