PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance deodorizing efficiency without increasing a pressure loss of the deodorant filter used for air cleaning device, etc. SOLUTION: The surface of the corrugated platform 2 of the deodorant filter has an activated carbon layer 3 with a thickness of 0.5 mm or less comprised of a powdered activated carbon with a grain size of 100 mesh or less and an adhesive layer containing the said powdered activated carbon. The activated carbon layer 3 with a thickness of 0.5 mm or less lies around the air trunk created by the opening of the corrugated platform 2. The thickness of the activated carbon layer 3 is small enough not to close the opening with the activated carbon and above all, necessary amount of activated carbon is obtained around the opening of the corrugated platform 2 without obstructing the air trunk 7, so that the filter can achieve both enhanced deodorizing efficiency and decreased pressure loss.
