<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of improving workability of an operation blocking a hole for inserting and locking a holder, blocking the hole without fail. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device has a light emitting tube 1 arranged at rear part of a display part having an image displaying face in front thereof; a body of equipment 2 having a plurality of first holes 23 on a bottom wall 21, holding the light emission tube 1 inside; a reflection sheet 3 having a plurality of second holes 31 corresponding to the first holes 23, reflecting the light emitted from the light emitting tube 1; holders 4 having flexible pieces 42, 42 locked by inserting it into the first holes 23 and the second holes 31 respectively, holding the light emitting tube 1 on the bottom wall 21; and a blocking part 51 arranged on a face facing the bottom wall 21 of the reflection sheet 3, blocking respective first holes 23 and second holes 31.
