<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of a setting work for preliminarily setting a correspondence between a storage medium and paper feed stage to a printer which selects a predetermined storage medium and prints image data thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing method for the printer in which a desired storage medium can be selected as a printing condition when performing print processing while selecting a storage medium placed on a paper feed stage comprises a display step (step S1506) of displaying a medium set template; a step of selecting an optional template name from template names of the displayed medium set template (step S1507); and a step of setting the correspondence between a set medium content corresponding to the selected template name and the paper feed tray.
