PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the rationalization of a gathering state in a bonding process, the stabilization of feed in a feed process, etc. by achieving not only the elimination or sharp reduction of violent behavior but also the induction and re-occurrence of bending only on an intentional surface side in the shrink strain developed in veneer accompanied by drying. SOLUTION: A desired number of veneers 1 dried by a drying machine (not shown in Fig.) and having remaining heat are stacked so that the fiber direction of the veneers is set to the same direction and the stacked state of the veneers 1 is forcibly restricted so that the whole of the stacked veneers 1A becomes straight in the direction crossing the fiber direction at a right angle and the greater part of the stacked veneers 1A in the same direction as the fiber direction is bent in a desired direction (the downward direction wherein the central part in the fiber direction in Fig.) with desired cambers h1-hx with respect to the same direction as the fiber direction and the restricted stacked posture is kept for a predetermined period.
