PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle for embedding, capable of making the wound formed for embedding small because the needle for the embedding having an inner diameter thicker than an embedding article is required to be adopted for embedding the embedding article such as a microchip in the body. SOLUTION: The needle 1 for the embedding is constituted as follows. A blade part 1a formed at the tip part is constituted of a sharp blade part 1c formed at the tip side and a dull part 1d formed at the base side. As a result, the needle penetrates the skin while incising a part to be incised in the skin, and thereafter while pushing out the incised part by the dull part 1d while evading the incision as possible to reduce the wound so as to be smaller than that by a conventional needle for the embedding wherein the whole blade part 1a is sharp, to enable the wound to be cured soon, and to reduce the damage on a small animal.
