METHOD FOR DETECTING BORDETELLA PERTUSSIS GENE USING LAMP METHOD AND PRIMER SET THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primer sequence capable of specifically detecting Bordetella pertussis gene by LAMP method in high sensitivity, a method for detecting Bordetella pertussis gene by using the primer sequence and a kit for detecting Bordetella pertussis gene by using the primer sequence. SOLUTION: The method for detecting Bordetella pertussis gene in a specimen contains a step to prepare a primer set capable of amplifying at least a part of Bordetella pertussis gene by LAMP method, extract a DNA from the specimen, subjecting the extracted DNA to amplification operation by LAMP method using the primer set and confirming the presence of amplified DNA in the product after the amplification operation. The invention further provides a primer set containing four DNAs having specific base sequences shown in a sequence table and usable for the detection of Bordetella pertussis gene in the bacterial cell in the specimen by LAMP method.
