An article which can withstand exposure to ultraviolet radiation comprises a thermoplastic substrate, and an acrylic primer with an inorganic ultraviolet light absorber, preferably cerium oxide. This acrylic primer can also function as a primer for silicone hardcoats. A cerium oxide organosol for use in the acrylic primer is produced from a cerium oxide aquasol. |
