<p>The present invention concerns a gas conditioning unit 6 for conditioning a well stream. The unit conditions a hydrocarbon gas to a substantially dry gas for use in subsea components requiring a controlled environment. The gas conditioning unit includes a hydro cyclone separator and a water separation filter. Furthermore the invention relates to a subsea compression module with a conditioning unit.</p>
