<p>This basket accepts 500 gm of raw spaghetti, in the usual, commercially-available length, holding it horizontally. At its narrow ends (1, 2), spaghetti is prevented from slipping out by blank, closed sections. The spaghetti is held in direct contact with the water (or other cooking medium). The basket fits a suitably-dimensioned domestic fryer and may be used for frying or other cooking purposes as required. The basket is not directly introduced into or removed from the boiling water by hand.</p> |
