A switching system adapted with an event-sensitive control device. The system of the present invention allows for the monitoring of events in the presence of the device's motion sensor by means of the process of calculating the likelihood of similar events and determining whether or not to actuate the device. An example use of the present system includes but is not limited to cameras.
