A flat base plate (FBP) (2) is easily positioned on the upper side of a table-top. Preset positions for desk utensils (DU) (4) are defined on the FBP along with detachable connecting elements/pegs (8) linked to the FBP at preset positions so as to fix the DU at preset positions. The FBP has drilled holes at preset positions. The connecting elements have pegs to plug into the holes.
