<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a motion blur and to minimize an increase in power consumption and shortening of a life. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus includes: an external device EXD which outputs a first video signal, a first control signal, and a first signal when image data are moving picture data and the first video signal, the first control signal, and a second signal when the image data are still picture data, and an organic EL display device DPL equipped with a plurality of pixels; a scanning signal line driver YDR whose operation is controlled with the second control signal; a video signal line driver XDR whose operation is controlled with a third control signal and which generates a third video signal from a second video signal and outputs it to pixels; and a controller CNT which is connected to the drivers XDR and YDR and processes the first video signal, the first control signal, and a discrimination signal to output the second and third control signals and the second video signal, and makes the drivers XDR and YDR drive the pixels through black insertion when the discrimination signal is the first signal or without the black insertion when the discrimination signal is the second signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
