PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer equipped with a wiper compact and capable of fully cleaning a nozzle face. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer includes a printing device which prints a supplied and conveyed recording medium with an ink delivered from the nozzle face formed in a printing head, and a wiper part which wipes and cleans the nozzle face. The wiper part is comprised of fixing metal fittings 82, a spacer 85 and a wiper blade 76. The fixing metal fittings 82 are shaped into a J-like shape with a long piece 82a and a short piece 82b joined to each other via a U-shaped part 82c, having the long piece 82a fixed to a projecting part 81 projected from an endless belt 73. The spacer 85 is press-fitted into the U-shaped part 82c of the fixing metal fittings 82. The wiper blade 76 has one end fixed to a space between the spacer 85 and the short piece 82b, and the other end wiping the nozzle face. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
