PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP telephone system for complementing the functions of an IP telephone terminal and sending a substituted packet when the IP telephone terminal can not transmit data correspondingly to the specifications of a communication destination apparatus. SOLUTION: The IP telephone system comprise: an IP telephone terminal 10 for sending a PB information packet including PB (pushbutton) information and the identifier information of the terminal itself and a RTP packet including the identifier information of the terminal itself and the identifier information of an opposite party; a server apparatus 20 for specifying a data form by referring to a management table when the PB information packet is received, and then sending a packet generation request signal including an instruction for sending the PB information by the data form and the PB information; and a packet conversion apparatus 30 for generating a packet including the PB information based on the data form, the identifier information of the opposite party and the identifier information of the IP telephone terminal from the PB information of the packet generation request signal, the identifier of the opposite party of the RTP packet and the identifier of the IP telephone terminal and transmitting the generated packet to the opposite party through a network.
