<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawer apparatus enabling the installation of a quake resisting latch on an existing drawer. <P>SOLUTION: A quake resisting latch body 20 and a latch receiver 51 are installed in each of the clearances A on the upper and lower sides of an inner rail 18 between the side plate parts 5 of a cabinet 2 and the side plates 12 of a drawer body 3. In an existing drawer apparatus 9 in which the clearances A are present between the cabinet 2 and the drawer body 3, the drawer apparatus 9 is not machined, and the quake resisting latch bodies 20 can be post-installed on the cabinet 2, and the latch receivers 51 can be installed on the drawer body 3.
