PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing management cost and stabilize the product quality by simplifying the component management and easily and surely obtaining information regarding quality characteristic. SOLUTION: The scanning optical apparatus, which is composed by assembling such an optical component as an optical element in a case and scans a luminous flux, is characterized in that an electronic component in which the information of the scanning optical apparatus is stored is mounted as a unit on the above described optical component or the case.
