PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing for simplifying heating treatment work and efficiently enclosing a solid lubricant without causing the drip of a lubricating composition even if not attaching a sealing mold upon filling and thermally curing the uncured solid lubricating composition in the rolling bearing. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of the rolling bearing enclosing the solid lubricating composition, an unburnt raw material 1 of the solid lubricating composition of a semi-solid state including a lubricant is filled to surround at least one part of the holder 2 in the rolling bearing, and the unburnt raw material 1 of the solid lubricating composition is heated and solidified. By heating the unburnt raw material of the solid lubricating composition from the lower side in the gravitational direction acting on the rolling bearing, the unburnt raw material 1b of the solid lubricating composition filled in the lower side of the holder 2 is thermally cured before the unburnt raw material 1a of the solid lubricating composition filled in the upper side of the holder 2.
