<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-liquid mixing curing type ink set curable with ultraviolet rays, which is free from polymerization inhibition derived from surrounded environmental oxygen, moisture, impurities, etc., and has excellent storage stability; and to provide a method of recording an image. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set curable with ultraviolet rays, comprises an ink composition A containing at least a cationically polymerizable compound and a radical photopolymerization initiator, and an ink composition B containing at least a radically polymerizable compound and a photoacid generator. Either of the compositions suitably contains a colorant. A plurality of compositions may contain colorants. The method of recording an image using the ink set, is carried out by the followings: adhering the compositions A and B onto the same position of a recording medium, followed by curing them through ultraviolet exposure; or adhering a mixture of the compositions A and B onto the recording medium, followed by curing it through ultraviolet exposure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
