PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation protection device for a vehicle that is extremely compact at normal times, does not require space for storage, can be extremely easily attached to the vehicle in a short time to prevent immersion of the radiation once an event occurs, and allows fast movement when the vehicle approaches a radiation generation source and when it escapes. SOLUTION: The radiation protection device comprises a transparent first shielding member 3 that is disposed so as to fully cover a glass section 2 of a vehicle body 1 facing the radiation generation source G and shields the radiation, supporting members 6 and 10 for supporting the first shielding member 3, a second shielding member 20 that is disposed so as to fully cover a side section 4 of the vehicle body 1 facing the radiation generation source G other than the glass section 2 of the vehicle body 1 and shields the radiation, and a holding member 21 for fixedly holding the upper end of the second shielding member 20 to the vehicle 1.
