PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentric double shaft drive unit which allows a motor geared to the purpose of use installed easily by being able to make an axial dimensions small, and also by efficiently preventing heat from confined in a casing. SOLUTION: The concentric double shaft drive unit is composed of a base member, an inner output shaft whose bottom is attached rotatably to the base member and whose top projects over the base member, a tubular outer output shaft which is attached rotatably to a section slightly lying a toward the top excluding the top of the inner output shaft, a motor which is attached to the base member equipped with a rotor fixed to the outer output shaft, an external motor whose drive shaft is attached so that it may be positioned on the side of the base member, to the base member at the section outer than a section where this motor is attached, and a drive transmission means which is installed at the drive shaft of the external motor and the section slightly lying toward the lower part of the inner output shaft.
