<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for obtaining radiation-hardened phase locked loop (PLL). <P>SOLUTION: The radiation-hardened PLL includes an adjustable bandwidth loop filter. The adjustable filter changes unfiltered voltage control signal and provides the stable voltage control signal to a voltage controlled-oscillator (VCO) during a detected radiation induced transient event.
