An electrolytic solution for operating electrolytic capacitors which deteriorates extremely little in electrical properties even when used in a high-tension capacitor. The electrolytic solution comprises a compound expressed by general formula (1) below and a compound expressed by general formula (2) below or their salts: where each R is a same or different alkyl group, and R' is hydrogen, a methyl group or an ethyl group, and n is an integer of 0 to 14.
