摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a horizontal force borne by foundation piles, by employing a suitable earthquake resistant structure. SOLUTION: The seismically reinforcing structure 1 is constructed by bringing an earthen floor slab 3 into horizontal contact with a foundation 4, and forming a soil improved body 10 on a lower surface 3a of the earthen floor slab 3 in one piece therewith. By virtue of one-piece formation of the soil improved body 10 and the earthen floor slab 3, and horizontal contact between the foundation 4 and the earthen floor slab 3, a horizontal force of an earthquake is transmitted from the foundation 4 to the soil improved body 10 and the earthen floor slab 3.
